that on the throttle until u know u dont have to take it off thing, doesnt mean that u cant smootly apply the throttle as u unwind the steering. u look at the throttle 'bar' when u see F1 drivers on TV, they apply the throttle on or just before the apex and roll it on as they unwind the steering.

If you dont do that u arent using all of the traction circle. rolling on the throttle is like trail braking, but for acceleration not deceleration.

yea XC if u are racing a 2 stroke just lock the brakes so the wheels are doing less RPM than the karts speed, if u know what i mean. Semi locking. it makes a really loud wierd sound when done properly, and u need to countersteer.

dontsimons advice sounds about right aswell, take that!

and u do loose time by applying the power later.
maybe it was slower because u totally over-powered, but u need to set yourself up so that u can fully apply the throttle early as possible.

Your rumors are slightly silly.

I heard that the drivers will do 1 lap in an F1 car and another on a motoGP bike. From there, both times will be added and the fastest will be on pole position.

In the race, instead of the normal pit stops, the drivers will have to get out, bandage up and look after a sick puppy as fast as humanly possible, swap to bikes and get on with the race.

OK fellas only 20 days to go. Like i say, ive confirmed the event so it will definatly go ahead. We need to get the cheques in now. so for everyone who is on the 1st page and isnt confirmed, or is confirmed and hasnt sent a cheque... SEND IT NOW!!

I dont believe it is coming, there is an indoor area but i doubt that many people who play the simulator at the karting event would actually buy one.

they could use it for research tho..

hi guys, my computer has been broken for a week and ive managed to use a comp at work. we have enough people, YAY!

I have phoned up the circuit manager and i have CONFIRMED THE EVENT FOR JULY 1st.
we definatly can go karting now, hopefully now we will gain a bit more momentum as regards a few more people.

lol, i was wondering that too, I think it must have just 'nipped' ie siezed but came unstuck again. It was a long race, and she still finnished in the end. Shes 20 but shes the size of a 12 year old lol, i was testin on sat and she passed me, so i thought RIGHT IM NOT HAVIN THAT, changed my lines and lit it away from her LOOOL.

haha, m8!! my motor was 500 from a mate who was wicked a few years back, my chassis was £250 from him too, and it was fast as until it got written off. Its so funny when u pass guys with a brand new kart who race every week and i havnt raced tkm for 2 years and my kart is 6 years old and i beat them lol.

i only live 10 miles from that track. if you have contacts, they can helpo u with ANYTHING

i bet the devs could get some kind of deal with a kart manufacturer similar to that of the BF1...

even a beta kart sim within LFS would be good, and it could be improved with karters feedback over time. The castor could be used to simulate chassis flex.

and Liedfe (?) jnr max only have 20hp so they are too slow for proper tracks, and its probably too dangerous for juniors for insurance reasons.

nope kart circuits are just like normal tracks but shorter.

proper karts can be run on any circuits. rotax max is used on circuits like Oulten Park, silverstone etc, anf they are only fixed gear.

circuits like FE club and as club would be considered small kart tracks
